Jessica LovejoyVice President & Midwest Director
Jessica is a Vice President with 50+1 Strategies. Since joining 50+1 in October 2013, Jessica has worked with an array of clients to develop community engagement programs and advance candidates and causes at the ballot box. Most recently, she served as the Training Director with Hillary for Wisconsin, where she designed and managed the statewide training program for organizing staff and volunteers. She also oversaw the summer and fall fellowship program, which recruited, trained, and supported more than 200 full and part-time fellows.
Jessica fell in love with community organizing during her time working on President Obama’s re-election campaign in Florida. Since then, she has gained valuable experience in nearly every aspect of campaigns from fundraising to political outreach, strategic communications, and digital organizing.
As the first in her family to attend college, she credits her education as the force that changed her life and sparked her interest in politics as a vehicle for change. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Law from the University of Florida. In 2015,
Jessica was selected as a New Leaders Council Fellow and served on the Executive Board of San Francisco Young Democrats. She is a member of the American Association of Political Consultants, San Francisco Women’s Political Committee, and California Women’s List.
When she’s not working, you can find Jessica hiking, scuba diving, or cooking up a new recipe in the kitchen. She loves hot yoga, Philz Coffee, and podcasts. She currently resides in Madison, Wisconsin.
